Many founded several decades ago, there are numerous annual publications at the Faculty. Most belong to individual departments or institutes, who publish scientific papers written by the academic staff members, foreign colleagues and Ph.D. students – mainly in English. These publications are available mostly as library exchange materials. Some examples:

The Eötvös-napi füzetek (Eötvös Memorial Day Volumes) publishes summaries of works awarded by the Faculty with the prestigious Scientific Award, and in the future this publication will bring out extended abstracts of the Ph.D. theses prepared at the Faculty. Hortus Botanicus… is the special publication of the Botanical Garden of the University. Hantkeniana is the recently established technical journal of the Department of Palaeontology devoted to palaeontological/stratigraphical papers. The Annales Universitatis Scientiarium… is a cover name for several annual publication series at the University, each appearing as a Sectio. The Faculty publishes the Sectio Biologica, Sectio Geographica, Sectio Geologica, Sectio Mathematica, etc. These series publish important scientific results mostly in English and sometimes in German or French.
